My name is Mrs. Kristen Laber and I teach 7th and 8th grade History, Language, Bible and Health at Fillmore Christian Academy.  I truly believe in Christian education and feel blessed to be a part of the FCA family.  At FCA we love each child and care about all aspects of their growth, mentally, physically and spiritually.

I graduated from Fillmore High School and earned a B.A. in Communication Arts from California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks.  I have previously taught both second and third grades.  The 2009-2010 school year will be my 6th year of teaching in a Christian school.  I am married to my wonderful husband Jayme and we have three beautiful boys Noah, Evan and Brady.  My family and I are members of Faith Community Church in Fillmore where I volunteer in both the nursery and preschool classrooms.

I love spending time with my family, shopping, traveling, reading and scrapbooking.
