I commited my life to Christ at 14 years of age.  He has given meaning and depth to my life beyond measure.  My favorite Bible verse is Psalm 118:24: "This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it."  I attended Santa Barbara City College, Azusa Pacific College, and received a BA in Art at CSULA.  I was pursuing a credential to teach high school art when I was married to my incredible husband.  We have been married nearly 34 years.  We have 2 grown daughters, a grandson, and a granddaughter on the way.  I had the privilege of being hired by Tracy Hackney in 1994 as an aide to Martha Richardson when FCA was a one-room, multi-grade classroom.  Under Mrs. Richardson's tutelage, I found teaching skills and a love for teaching that I didn't know I had.

My interests are:  Learning more about the awesome God we have and His gift He gave us on the cross in Jesus, spending time with my family, reading, drawing, teaching, going to bluegrass music venues when my husband is playing, and the beach.
